In addition to funding leading edge water research, the Alberta Water Research Institute plays a key role as a knowledge broker – providing both analysis and context to water research for decision- and policy-makers, and ensuring that the information is understandable, relevant and accessible.
To that end, the Water Institute serves as a facilitator for the exchange and sharing of knowledge across Alberta, across Canada and around the world.
The Knowledge Exchange is evolving to be a way to connect, to think and to explore ideas, and in Spring 2009, a number of presentations, discussion papers, and resources will be added to this site.
In the Fall of 2009, the Water Institute will be posting and hosting an ideas exchange forum for anyone with an interest in water.
