The MAB has constituted an International Research Advisory Committee [IRAC] whose primary role is to provide independent scientific peer review of proposed strategic research programs to ensure their scientific integrity and value in meeting the goals and objectives of the AWRI.
Members of the IRAC are recommended based on their specific scientific area of expertise and their international reputation and/or standing in areas of interest to water research in Alberta. The IRAC is composed of individuals from Alberta as well as from the international community.
